Here are some of the best personal finance apps for your phone. I use these apps to budget my money, keep track of my income and expenses, and invest. I recommend trying these finance apps if you are looking for a way to save and budget your money! These are user-friendly apps, so you don’t need to have a Finance degree to keep track of your finances:)
Mint
Mint is one of my most-used personal finance apps because it shows me where I am spending my money. It allows me to create savings and spending goals, and it will show me when I am spending too much money on non-essential items (i.e. skincare products I don’t need). This app keeps me in check with my money.
Ally
Regular bank savings accounts are a thing of the past. My Wells Fargo savings account made me virtually no interest, and it wasn’t doing me any favors.
I recommend getting a high-yield savings account rather than using a basic bank’s savings account because you will earn so much more interest on your money. Ally is easy to set up and you can create different “buckets” for all of your savings goals. I have a specific “bucket” for future vacations, my emergency fund, a future home, and basic savings.

Truebill
Truebill is a tool where you can find out what subscriptions you are being billed for, so that you can CANCEL the ones you don’t even use. This app will save you some money. I found that I was paying $10 a month for a subscription to Chegg that I wasn’t even using anymore!
Fidelity
Fidelity is an incredible investing tool because it is beginner-friendly. I have a whole post for using the Fidelity app here. But if you are just learning how to invest and don’t do a lot of day trading, Fidelity will be great for you. You can find the ticker symbols (name of the stocks) and performance of the stocks on Yahoo Finance.
Bills Organizer & Reminder
This is a great app if you need help keeping track of your bills. It gives you reminders when your bills are due. You can create recurring bills with different billing periods and also one-time bills. The app gives you a monthly view of your bill payment statuses, so you stay up-to-date! This app makes sure you never miss a bill payment again.

Nerd Wallet: Finance Tracker
This app allows you to track your spending and keep up with your net worth. You get personalized insights to reducing your debt and expenses, and you also have your free credit score and free credit report in the app. The app will tell you when and why your credit score changes, too!
EveryDollar: Budget Your Money
You can sync all of your financial accounts and make a plan for your money. You can create budget categories, track expenses, set up savings funds, and can connect you with savings experts. This app puts every dollar to use.
This post was to help you find some of the best personal finance apps, so I hope you found a new app to use that will help your life and finances! Let me know which app you find the most useful.
